I have a fondness for skirts with uneven hems and slanting lines. The slip stitch pattern in this skirt takes some extra time, but creates a fabric that is a mixture of knitting and weaving, and will skim the body without clinging. When you knit the short rows to shape the hem, there is no need to make or hide wraps, as the slip-stitch pattern hides the turns automatically. This skirt is knit seamlessly from the hem up, and finished with an interior grosgrain ribbon waistband and snaps for a smooth fit. This pattern was originally developed for Artfibers' 2007 Design Collection.
