Fretwork Shawl pattern PDF
This delicate shawl features inset bands of openwork and an elegant lace edging. The shawlette is the perfect size to wrap around your neck like a scarf or wear across your shoulders with a pretty shawl pin, while the larger shawl size provides more coverage. Even newer crocheters can make this effortless and stunning project, with clear instructions that are both written and charted.
This is an advanced beginner project - you should be comfortable with chain stitch and double crochet to start the shawl. Additional skills in the edging include picots. Both the first rows and the edging are shown in stitch diagrams as well as written out.
