Windrush Farm Ranch Retreat in Petaluma April 11 or May 31

Meet sheep, alpaca, goats, chickens, and more, at a beautiful ranch in Petaluma, only an hour away from San Francisco! We’ll start the day with coffee, tea, and baked goods while knitting, crocheting, and spinning.  Rancher Mimi Lubbermann of Windrush Farm will take us on a farm tour including petting some sheep and meeting the resident angora rabbit. 

We’ll have a mini class where you can start make a lace scarf, with a knitting or crochet option. One pattern is included in the retreat registration and you can request a different one. Bring your own yarn, or plan to buy yarn grown on the ranch and spun at a local mill. There will also be time to relax and chat, shop in the farm store, and browse through a trunk show of Kira K Designs knitting and crochet kits. Lots of farm-fresh yarn will be available to purchase, as well as spinning fiber, books, and maybe some jam or other treats.

Up to two low-income crafters may attend at a discounted rate by using the code "L4.11.26" or "5.31.26" depending on date chosen.

This working ranch is not wheelchair accessible but can be navigated with a cane or walker.

• A bag lunch and water bottle

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel with more than one month’s notice, an 80% refund will be sent. An 80% refund will be sent for cancellations with less than one month’s notice only if we can find someone else to take the spot. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the retreat due to low enrollment, we will give at least two weeks’ notice, and a full refund will be sent to all registered attendees. If the event must be cancelled or rescheduled for other reasons, we will offer options including transfer, credit, and refund.
