Odysseus the Octopus Kit

Who couldn’t use a pocket-size friend to carry around with them? Odysseus is a fun loving octopus who is the life of every party. This project is a good introduction to techniques including I-cord and slip-stitch knitting, and has enough supplies to make two octopi!

This is an advanced beginner knitting project. You should already know how to cast on, knit, and purl. Other skills used in this pattern are increasing, decreasing, slip stitch, and I-cord. Sample was made with Claire Green and Chiquita. 

Finished Dimensions: Body Height: 2.5"; Leg Length: 2.5”

Kit includes two mini skeins of Cesium Yarn superwash merino/nylon yarn (46 yards each), recycled polyester stuffing, purposefully mismatched safety eyes, and the Odysseus the Octopus pattern in both printed format and PDF download code. All items are packaged in a compostable bag. 

These items are not included, but will be needed to complete the project: set of two US 6 (4mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge, yarn needle.
