Swerve Shawl Kit

Simple, rhythmic knitting results in an unusual and lovely shawl in the shape of a skewed and curved triangle. Occasional rows of eyelets and ridges lend texture and add interest to the knitting process. This pattern is quite adaptable for different weights of yarn and is simple enough for newer knitters.

This is an advanced beginner knitting project. You should already know how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off.

Kit includes a flight of five mini skeins (total 625 yards) of Black Diamond Alpacas hand-dyed small-farm alpaca yarn and the Swerve Shawl pattern in both printed format and PDF download code. All items are packaged in a box as shown, with the pattern folded to fit inside the box.

These items are not included, but will be needed to complete the project: US 5 (3.75mm) 24″ or longer circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge, yarn needle, pins for blocking.
