Tracery Cowl Kit
Gothic architecture made beautiful use of tracery, ornamental work of interlacing or branching lines as seen in stained glass windows. The trellis pattern of this scarf similarly branches out to create a beautiful openwork pattern that’s surprisingly simple to follow since it’s based on ribbing. You can use a cable needle, but it’s quite easy to work without one and instructions are given for both methods. Sample cowl is natural grey.
This is an advanced beginner project, you should know how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. The stitch pattern is both written out and charted.
