Beginning Crochet Workshop in Hayward February 15
Crochet is fast and fun, especially with thicker yarn. You’ll learn a few basic stitches while starting to make a cowl (also known as an infinity scarf) worked flat and seamed together at the end. This class is appropriate for those totally new to crochet, as well as those returning after a break.
This workshop will take place at Aranea Craft Studio, 943 C Street in Hayward, CA.
A Note on Pricing: There is a sliding scale for low-income makers, on the honor system. We recommend ages 12+ for group classes.
Materials Needed: 130-260 yards smooth chunky weight yarn (we recommend Malabrigo Mecha and sample was made with one skein), size K or L crochet hook, darning needle, three removable stitch markers.
