Beginning Knitting Workshop in Hayward November 16

Come learn the basics of knitting, or pick it up again after a long break. You’ll learn how to cast on, knit, and bind off while starting a cozy cowl (aka infinity scarf) with chunky yarn. This class is appropriate for those totally new to knitting, as well as those returning after a break.

This workshop will take place at Aranea Craft Studio, 943 C Street in Hayward, CA.

A Note on Pricing: There is a sliding scale for low-income makers, on the honor system. We recommend ages 12+ for group classes.

Materials Needed: 130-260 yards smooth chunky weight yarn (we recommend Malabrigo Mecha and sample was made with one skein), size 11 knitting needles, darning needle.
