Hybrid Crochet (aka Tunisian Crochet) Workshop in Hayward November 2

Hybrid Crochet (aka Tunisian Crochet) Workshop in Hayward November 2

Delve into a hybrid crochet technique which is easy for beginners and interesting even for experienced crocheters! Hybrid Crochet, also known as Tunisian crochet, uses two passes to create a single row, building up stitches on your crochet hook, then working them off on the return pass. It creates a soft, squishy fabric in a process that feels like a mix between knitting and crochet, with endless possibilities for texture and lace.

This workshop will take place at Aranea Craft Studio, 943 C Street in Hayward, CA.

Prerequisites: No experience necessary, but people with traditional crochet skills may cover more stitch patterns

A Note on Pricing: There is a sliding scale for low-income makers, on the honor system.
