Crocheted Granny Squares Workshop in Hayward December 16

Expand your crocheting skills to working in the round following a pattern or stitch diagram. We’ll make three different granny squares, two of which can be continued indefinitely to make any size including one large square as a modern and graphic baby blanket.
This workshop will take place at Aranea Craft Studio, 943 C Street in Hayward, CA.
Prerequisites: This is an intermediate level class and students should be comfortable with chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet.
A Note on Pricing: There is a sliding scale for low-income makers, on the honor system.
Materials Needed: 40 yards of smooth yarn (small amounts of different colors is okay), crochet hook in appropriate size for your yarn, removable stitch markers.
Teacher Background: I have worked in the yarn industry since 2002, as a yarn shop employee and later manager, teacher, pattern designer, and event host. I have taught hundreds of people how to crochet and refined the process to make it easier for my students.
Cancellation Policy: If the organizer cancels for any reason, students will be offered a choice of transferring to another workshop or receiving a full refund. If a student cancels with at least 72 hours notice, they can choose to receive an 80% refund or transfer to another class.
